When I am making a photo album of our vacation, I always do it in chronological order. So if I have a 7 day trip, I would create several pages for each day. (When I say several, of course I mean at least 10.) At the start of every day, I have a “cover page” of sorts. Generally, this page will have less photos and more writing than one of my normal pages. Often, I use one of my favorite pictures from that day and enlarge it. I have the date as the title. Some vacations, I write the day of the trip as well. (Although I don’t know exactly why I used to do that.) This first page of the day is the page I use to do all of my extra journaling, and often where I add the kid’s memories from the day as well.
